सोम॒ꣳ राजा॑न॒मव॑से॒ऽग्निम॒न्वार॑भामहे। आ॒दि॒त्यान् विष्णु॒ꣳ सूर्य्यं॑ ब्र॒ह्माणं॑ च॒ बृह॒स्पति॒ꣳ स्वाहा॑॥२६॥

सोम॑म्। राजा॑नम्। अव॑से। अ॒ग्निम्। अ॒न्वार॑भामह॒ इत्य॑नु॒ऽआर॑भामहे। आ॒दि॒त्यान्। विष्णु॑म्। सूर्य॑म्। ब्र॒ह्मा॑णम्। च॒। बृह॒स्पति॑म्। स्वाहा॑ ॥२६॥

Meaning
Let us elect him, for our protection, after due deliberations, as king, who is amiable, and destroyer of foes like fire, who has received education from the learned, who has observed the vow of celibacy for forty eight years, who holds sway over administrative problems, is supreme among the learned, is master of all the four Vedas, and protector of the sages.
