यन्नीक्ष॑णं माँ॒स्पच॑न्याऽउ॒खाया॒ या पात्रा॑णि यू॒ष्णऽआ॒सेच॑नानि।ऊ॒ष्म॒ण्याऽपि॒धाना॑ चरू॒णाम॒ङ्काः सू॒नाः परि॑ भूष॒न्त्यश्व॑म्॥३६॥

यत्। नीक्ष॑ण॒मिति॑ नि॒ऽईक्ष॑णम्। मा॒ꣳस्पच॑न्या॒ इति॑ मा॒ꣳस्पच॑न्याः। उ॒खायाः॑। या। पात्रा॑णि। यू॒ष्णः। आ॒सेच॑ना॒नीत्या॒ऽसेच॑नानि। ऊ॒ष्म॒ण्या᳖। अ॒पि॒धानेत्य॑पि॒ऽधाना॑। च॒रू॒णाम्। अङ्काः॑। सू॒नाः। परि॑। भू॒ष॒न्ति॒। अश्व॑म् ॥३६ ॥

यन्नीक्षणम्माँस्पचन्याऽउखाया या पात्राणि यूष्णऽआसेचनानि । ऊष्मण्यापिधाना चरूणामङ्काः सूनाः परि भूषन्त्यश्वम् ॥

यत्। नीक्षणमिति निऽईक्षणम्। माꣳस्पचन्या इति माꣳस्पचन्याः। उखायाः। या। पात्राणि। यूष्णः। आसेचनानीत्याऽसेचनानि। ऊष्मण्या। अपिधानेत्यपिऽधाना। चरूणाम्। अङ्काः। सूनाः। परि। भूषन्ति। अश्वम्॥३६॥

Translation
The stick that is dipped into the cauldron in which the meal is boiled, the vessels that distribute the broth, the covers of dishes, the skewers, the knives, all do honour (to the horse). (1)

Yannikṣaṇam mansapacanya ukhāyāḥ, nikṣaṇam is the wooden stick for trying if the cooking is complete. (मांस् = मांस,, meat. )! Pātrāṇi yūṣṇa äsecanāni, the vessels that are the sprin klers of the boiled soup or broth. (Sāyaṇa). Carūņām, of the cooking pots. Apidhāna, cover or lid for cooking pots. Ankāḥ, slips of cane (वेतस शाखा). Sünāḥ, implements of dissection; knives.
