पृ॒च्छामि॑ त्वा चि॒तये॑ देवसख॒ यदि॒ त्वमत्र॒ मन॑सा ज॒गन्थ॑।येषु॒ विष्णु॑स्त्रि॒षु प॒देष्वेष्ट॒स्तेषु॒ विश्वं॒ भुव॑न॒मावि॑वेशाँ३ऽ॥४९॥

पृ॒च्छामि॑। त्वा॒। चि॒तये॑। दे॒व॒स॒खेति॑ देवऽसख। यदि॑। त्वम्। अत्र॑। मन॑सा। ज॒गन्थ॑। येषु॑। विष्णुः॑। त्रि॒षु। प॒देषु॑। आइ॑ष्ट॒ इत्याऽइ॑ष्टः। तेषु॑। विश्व॑म्। भुव॑नम्। आ। वि॒वे॒श॒ ॥४९ ॥

पृच्छामि। त्वा। चितये। देवसखेति देवऽसख। यदि। त्वम्। अत्र। मनसा। जगन्थ। येषु। विष्णुः। त्रिषु। पदेषु। आइष्ट इत्याऽइष्टः। तेषु। विश्वम्। भुवनम्। आ। विवेश॥४९॥

Translation
O friend of the enlightened ones, I ask you for my knowledge. Tell me, if you have reached any conclusion in this regard; whether in the three steps, by which the sacrifice extends, the whole of the universe is encompassed or not? (1)
Note
Vişnuḥ, यज्ञो वै विष्णु:, the sacrifice is Visnuḥ. Also, one of the twelve Adityas. Trișu padeșu iṣṭaḥ, was worshipped in three steps, i. e. three phases. Viśvam bhuvanam, whole of the universe; सर्व भूतजातं all the beings that exist.
