Translation
In the Spring season, may the divine Vasus praised with the Trivrt Stomas and the Rathantara Samans, bestow lustre, supplies and long life on the aspirant. (1)

Vasantena rtuna, literally with the spring season; in the spring season. In these six mantras there are six seasons, six deities to be praised, six stomas and prsthas (sāmans) with which to praise, and six virtues with which those deities bestow lustre, supplies and long life on the aspirant.
