Translation
Our homage be to the wearer of the helmet, (1) and to the wearer of the cuirass. (2) Our homage be to the wearer of the mail; (3) and to the wearer of the protective armour. (4) Our homage be to the warrior, who is famous; (5) and to him, whose army is much renowned. (6) Our homage be to him, who has drums; (7) and to him, who marches with the beating drums. (8)
