मू॒र्द्धासि॒ राड् ध्रु॒वासि॑ ध॒रुणा॑ ध॒र्त्र्यसि॒ धर॑णी। आयु॑षे त्वा॒ वर्च॑से त्वा कृ॒ष्यै त्वा॒ क्षेमा॑य त्वा॥२१॥

Translation
You are the apex, brilliant and bright. (1) You are set firm, supporting others. (2) You are sustainer like earth. (3) I invoke you for long life. (4) You for lustre. (5) You for farming. (6) You for comprehensive good. (7)
Note
This verse is addressed to the lady of the house. Murdha, शिरोभूता, head; apex. Rat, या राजते सा, one that shines; or one that rules. Dharuna, dhartri and dharani, have more or less the same meaning being derived from the same verb root У to support. Krsyai, सस्यनिष्पत्त्तये, for producing food grains; for farmIng. Tva, त्वां परिगृह्ण्णामि इति शेष: (І accept) you. ‘I accept’ is to be understood. The wording of this and the following verse shows that it has nothing to do with the bricks of any type.
