असु॑न्वन्तम्। अय॑जमानम्। इ॒च्छ॒। स्ते॒नस्य॑। इ॒त्याम्। अनु॑। इ॒हि॒। तस्क॑रस्य। अ॒न्यम्। अ॒स्मत्। इ॒च्छ॒। सा। ते॒। इ॒त्या। नमः॑। दे॒वि॒। नि॒र्ऋ॒त॒ इति॑ निःऽऋते। तुभ्य॑म्। अ॒स्तु॒ ॥६२ ॥

Translation
О distress divine, go and seek him, who does not offer oblations or who does not perform sacrifice. Follow the thieves and robbers wherever they go. Seek others than us. May this be your way. We bow in reverence to you. (1)

Formulas for averting nirrti, the goddess of destruction and misery. Nirrti is also a name given to certain bricks baked in fire made with rice-husk. In rituals, the sacrificer lays three such bricks reciting this and the following three verses. Nirrti, distress divine. Calamity and misery also urge people to divine virtues.
