Translation
Metrical Translation:-
Call him an ideal devotee of God
Who is a man of wisdom
Whose sole goal in life
Is to establish God's kingdom.
Who takes delight in Life Divine
And in the welfare of all beings
Who becomes good leader of men
And to the path of the Sovereign
All his followers brings.
Comment
Griffith's translation is better than Rev. Stevenson's “Let Thy intelligent, riches - conveying pleasing easy going horses come to us', (Ste.) which is "Kind- thoughted is the noble, gladdening friendly one.”(Gr.)
